Car hit by Sunrail train on Colonial, FDOT says

No one was injured

ORLANDO, Fla. – A car on the tracks was hit by a SunRail train Tuesday morning in Orlando, creating a short delay, the Florida Department of Transportation said.

FDOT said the crash happened around 8:30 a.m. on the tracks crossing East Colonial Drive at North Orange Avenue.

After a 30 minute delay, trains were back up and running on time by 9 a.m., officials said.

No one was injured in the crash, the Orlando Fire Department said.
