One person, a worker standing on the back of the truck as it fell over, was taken to Viera Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, News 6 partner Florida Today reported.

The crane truck was being used to remove concrete slabs from the Pineda Causeway overpass.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the crane attempted to rotate with one of the slabs when it tipped over toward the right.

Damage to the overpass was being assessed by work crews.
