The motorcyclist, who has yet to be identified, was driving a 2006 Honda south on Holder Road when he lost control and hit a tree, troopers said. The man and his vehicle were thrown through a fence and onto the eastern grass shoulder of nearby northbound Interstate 95.

He was not wearing a helmet, police say.

The motorcycle was found at 6 a.m. Friday by a driver who stopped along the interstate because of car trouble, the FHP said.
