Motorcyclist, 21, dies in Kissimmee crash

Man drove into back of Nissan, troopers say

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A 21-year-old Kissimmee man was killed early Friday when his motorcycle rear-ended a car, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The fatal crash was reported at 1:35 a.m. on Simpson Road near Derby Drive in Kissimmee.

The man, whose name has not been released, was driving a 2015 Kawasaki north on Simpson Road when he failed to slow down and struck the rear of a 2014 Nissan, the FHP said.

The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and died at the scene, troopers said.

The driver of the Nissan, a 23-year-old Kissimmee woman, was not injured.

It's not known if alcohol played a role in the crash, which remains under investigation.
