SANFORD, Fla. – Northbound traffic on U.S. 17/92 is being diverted Tuesday night into Wednesday morning onto the paved center median, Florida Department of Transportation officials said.
Traffic will be diverted approximately 800 feet north of the Shepard Road and Raven Avenue intersection, then back to the existing alignment of U.S. 17/92 near the Nissan dealership.
The FDOT said the number of lanes will not change during the traffic shift.
The southbound lanes have already shifted about 7 feet west to accommodate the northbound shift.
