The highly anticipated new attraction at Disney's EPCOT theme park "Mission Space" won't open for another two months but Local 6 News obtained exclusive home video of the ride.
The ride will put guests through the same G-forces and feelings of weightlessness that real astronauts experience. The simulated G-forces are created by a giant centrifuge similar to the ones used by NASA.
After blasting off from Florida, visitors will zoom around the moon and then land on the planet Mars.
Insiders said that the control panels in front of each rider will move forward and enable the rider to take control.
The ride is one of two new attractions opening this year at the resort. The other new attraction, Mickey's PhilHarmagic, is a 3-D film and much less ambitious than "Mission Space."
Walt Disney began testing the ride this week with a few lucky park visitors.
