State Road 408 Tolls Reinstated Thursday

All tolls on the eastern portions of State Road 408 (East-West Expressway) will be reinstated beginning at 8 p.m.

At that time, all plazas on the Expressway Authority's system will be collecting tolls.

Drivers are advised to use caution when proceeding through all toll plazas but to pay special attention during this transition from toll suspension to toll collection.

The Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority, established in 1963 by the state legislature, is responsible for the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of a 92-mile limited-access expressway system to serve the metropolitan Orlando area.
