'Known Travelers' Can Bypass Security At OIA

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Airline passengers who submit iris and fingerprint scans at Orlando International Airport will be able breeze through security scans this week, according to Local 6 News.
Frequent fliers can enroll in the Registered Traveler program beginning Wednesday.OIA is the first U.S. airport to implement the pre-screening security program.Passengers registered as a "known traveler" will submit to a background check and iris scans.After submitting the information, passengers will be granted express access to the airport's security checkpoint and avoid the long lines and random inspections, Local 6 News reported.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
