Twisters Touch Down In Oklahoma

ORIENTA, Okla. -- Numerous tornadoes touched down in Major County on Wednesday night, as severe storms developed throughout western and northwestern Oklahoma.Storm spotters observed the first tornado three miles west of Orienta, moving north at 10 mph. Locations included in the warning included Cleo Springs and Orienta. However, sheriff's officials confirmed multiple tornadoes as of 6:45 p.m., KOCO-TV reportedThe National Weather Service said Wednesday night would be cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms statewide and lows from the upper 50s to the upper 60s.Partly cloudy skies are forecast Thursday with continuing rain and thunderstorms and highs mostly in the 80s. Friday will remain partly cloudy with ongoing showers and thunderstorms while afternoon highs are expected in the mid to upper 80s and overnight lows again in the upper 50s to upper 60s.
