Polk County public schools will be open on Wednesday. Officials had announced on Monday that Polk schools would be closed on Wednesday but changed the decision on Tuesday.

Brevard, Lake, Marion, Seminole and Volusia county schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, officials said. Marion County public school officials had announced earlier on Monday that schools would only be closed two hours early on Tuesday before announcing the two-day closure.
