BAREFOOT BAY, Fla. -- Several homes in Barefoot Bay were damaged Thursday when storms passed through Central Florida, including one that had an awning ripped off.

The awning was torn off a home located on Great Bear Lake Drive, and several families were cleaning up Thursday evening after the roofs of their homes were damaged.Neighbors said it felt like a tornado blew through the area."I just saw a bunch of wind, and everything was going around in circles. The wind was taking everything and going around like this. It was really frightening," a resident said.No one was injured.Watch Local 6 News for more on this story.
