More scattered storms are expected in Central Florida on Monday, but drier air is on the way.

About 40 percent of the region will see rain, continuing a wet pattern in the Orlando area.

"Some of those storms could be fairly strong," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

High temperatures will reach 90 degrees on Monday.

"Through the day tomorrow, rain chances will be a lot lower," Bridges said.

After Monday, highs through the weekend are expected to reach the upper 80s, with lows near 70 degrees each night.

"Temperatures will be a lot more comfortable with drier air building in," Bridges said.

The forecast shows no rain chances from Wednesday through Saturday, and only a 20 percent chance on Sunday.
