Early Wednesday, Orlando set a new record-low of 40 degrees, dipping below the record of 42 in 1979. Daytona Beach tied its 2006 record, dipping to 39 degrees. In Brevard County, Melbourne recorded a low of 39 degrees, besting the record of 43 in 2006.
Also on Wednesday morning, Ocala saw temperatures dip to 32 degrees.
The high on Wednesday will reach 65 degrees, and a warmup will follow.
"We're back into the mid-70s by Thursday," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.
Easter Sunday will be warmer with a high of 80 degrees.
There's no chance of rain through the weekend.
