ORLANDO, Fla. -

Storms bringing rain and windy conditions are expected to strike the Orlando area on Wednesday.

The high temperature will reach 86 degrees before a front cools things down.

"The front will bring rain and the chance for strong winds and lightning for the afternoon drive on Wednesday," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

The overnight low will dip into the upper 50s.

High temperatures will warm into the mid-70s on Thursday, with a 30 percent chance of rain.

Even cooler temperatures will invade Central Florida over the weekend, with highs on Sunday only reaching 59 degrees.
