Temperatures on Friday will range from the mid-70s to the low-90s and continue throughout the weekend.

The 30 percent chance of rain on Friday will increase to 50 percent on Saturday and Sunday as the sea breezes come inland.

"We'll be tracking some storms later today," said Local 6 Meteorologist Julie Broughton. "Better chance for thunderstorms into the weekend but we are at the time of the year where this is going to become an almost daily occurrence for us as we move through the next six months."

Meanwhile, meteorologists are tracking the tropics as the area of the Gulf of Mexico gets better organized, possibly making it the first organized storm of the season.
