Comfortable day, but mid-90s on the way

Orlando to see high of 86 on Wednesday

ORLANDO, Fla. – Wednesday will be warm and beautiful in the Orlando area, but hot weather is on the way.

"As high pressure dominates the forecast will see mostly clear skies and dry air in place, leading to comfortable mornings but hot afternoons," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Early morning temperatures were in the 50s and 60s across the region.

"You may want to grab a light jacket heading out the door on Wednesday morning, but this will be the last chance for that as each morning will be gradually warming into the 70s," Bridges said.

Orlando will see a high of 86 degrees on Wednesday. The average afternoon high on this date is 84.

Expect a high in the mid-90s on Thursday and Friday.

The record high on Friday is 95 degrees, set in 2011.

"Rain chances return as a weak system moves in Saturday," Bridges said.

There's a 30 percent chance of rain from Saturday through Tuesday.
