"After a very cold start across Central Florida -- in the 30s and 40s -- we will gradually warm into the mid-60s for afternoon high temperatures," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Marion County saw overnight lows early Monday reach the freezing mark.

Rain chances will enter the picture late Monday night, at 30 percent, as a new front moves in.

The overnight low will be in the 40s in the Orlando area, with cooler temperatures to the north.

"More cool air will build in for the rest of the week as we continue to stay dry," Bridges said.

Afternoon high temperatures will only reach 60 degrees in many areas on Tuesday.

"Morning lows will once again be in the 30s for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday," Bridges said.

Afternoon high temperatures will gradually warm into the mid- and upper 60s by the end of the week and into the weekend.
