Fall weather fades away in Central Florida

Heat returns for Halloween in Orlando

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Cool weather fans had a real treat this weekend, but the trick may be on them come Halloween.

High temperatures in the 70s greeted Central Floridians on Sunday, but the high will peak at 82 degrees on Monday.

"It's going to be hot on Halloween and there's a chance of rain," said Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges, who added that there's a 20 percent chance of showers on Thursday.

Until Thursday, however, there's no chance of rain in the forecast.

The high temperature in Orlando for Halloween is expected to be 86 degrees.

"Around trick-or-treat time, temps will be in the 70s," Bridges said.

Overnight lows through Wednesday will be in the mid-60s.
