ORLANDO, Fla. -

Hot temperatures continue to blanket Central Florida, but rain chances increase by the middle of the week.

Orlando will see a high of 90 degrees on Monday, with a 10 percent chance of rain.  Highs will be in the upper 80s along the coast.

"An area of high pressure moves off to the east, sending in east winds that will lead to a breezy afternoon on Monday," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

The overnight low will be 72 degrees.

Highs will be near 90 on Tuesday, with a 10 percent chance for rain.  Temperatures drop to 72 overnight.

Highs will be 88 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday.

"Rain chances increase to 40 percent on Wednesday and 60 percent on Thursday, as moisture and energy move in from the Bahamas," Bridges said.

Central Florida will dry out by the weekend, with high in the mid-80s.
