Seminole County residents now eligible for FEMA assistance

Individual assistance available after Hurricane Matthew

SANFORD, Fla. – Thousands more people in Central Florida can now get help from FEMA if they had damage from Hurricane Matthew. 

Seminole County was added Tuesday to the list of counties eligible for individual assistance.

Hurricane Matthew damaged several homes in the county, knocked out power to thousands and left Cranes Roost Park underwater. 

 

Residents in Brevard, Volusia and Flagler counties also remain eligible for that federal assistance.
