A slot of dry air moved over Florida, reducing the chance of rain, except at the coast...especially Brevard county...where ocean moisture and heat produced some heavy downpours around Melbourne and Camp Holly. Most of the heavy action was West of I-95.
Dry air won't last and by Sunday the rain chance moves up to 40% and 50% by Monday.
Its officially Fall....but the temperatures still loom around 92 inland and 89 at the beaches. More of the same on Sunday.
Overnight lows will drop to a warm and muggy 74.
The upcoming week looks close to normal with a chance of rain each and every afternoon ....around 40%...and temperatures 90 or above.
The tropics are active but no threat to Florida. Karl and Lisa are "fish"storms and the newest of the bunch has potential and is still far, far away. Long range forecast has it staying South of Cuba at this time.
