Prevailing East winds kept the clouds blowing in from the Atlantic Ocean giving us a mixed weather day
At times, skies were partly cloudy and other times ...mostly cloudy. Winds, gusting up to 22 mph, brought in lots of clouds and some occasional small showers along the east coast.
However, overnight and Sunday should see improvements in sky cover and a lessening of the winds. Lows tonight will range from 62 in Orlando to 49 in Ocala to 65 in Melbourne.
Sunday sunshine pushes temps up to 83 in Orlando to 78 in Daytona Beach to 84 in Clermont. Additionally, there will be a 20% chance of rain around Lake County and a 40% chance of rain around Marion county.
Mostly dry conditions prevail during the up coming week adding to our drought index. Please..no burning. Next big chance for rain is Friday with 30%. Temperatures will be flirting with 90 by the end of the week.
