Is the cooldown over for Central Florida?

What a difference a day makes!

"We are pinpointing much better weather for the end of the week on into the weekend," said News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges.

High pressure continues to dominate the forecast.

The average afternoon high temperature in Orlando is 73. Expect a high of 74 on Friday.

"We'll see lots of sunshine for Friday and Saturday by Valentine's Day," said Bridges "On Sunday expect another front to bring a cool down but no rain."

Temperatures will warm to 70 on Saturday but by Sunday for Valentine's Day, high temperatures will be in the mid 60s.

Rain chances return for Presidents' Day on Monday at only 20 percent with highs in the mid 70s.
