Lorenzo is 12th named storm of Atlantic hurricane season
Tropical Storm Lorenzo, the twelfth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season, formed Monday evening.
At 11 p.m., Lorenzo was about 685 miles east-southeast of Bermuda with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph. It was moving northeast at 9 mph.
Forecasters expected Lorenzo to turn toward the east-northeast Tuesday. Some strengthening was possible with weakening likely by Wednesday.
