"Rain chances will gradually increase as moisture moves back into the atmosphere by the weekend," said News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges.

Rain chances will be at 30 percent Saturday and 40 percent Sunday into Monday.

"The big story in the coming days will be all about the heat," Bridges said, adding that temperatures will reach 96 degrees on Wednesday afternoon, but will feel more like 105.

The average high is 92.

"If you're outside for long, drink lots of water and take frequent breaks," Bridges said.

The heat continues as temperatures reach the mid-, and at times, upper- 90s across Central Florida in the coming days.

Expect a high of 96 on Thursday and Friday with highs in the mid-90s for Saturday and for Sunday.
