Warm, mostly dry Sunday in central Florida

Slight chance of afternoon showers

ORLANDO, Fla. – Sunday's weather is shaping up to look much like Saturday's, News 6 meteorologist Madeline Evans said.

Central Florida had some patchy fog Sunday morning, but it is starting to burn off, leaving temperatures near the 80s.

Most inland counties will reach a high of 78 degrees, while the coast will stay a bit cooler.

Orlando will reach a high of 78, with a very slight chance of some pop-up showers on the coast. The rest of central Florida will stay dry, with a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day.

"Tonight we will reach a low of 59 under a partly cloudy sky," Evans said.

Late fog will develop once again Sunday evening, and will continue into Monday morning.

Monday will be even warmer, with a high of 80 degrees and lots of sunshine.
