Central Florida to be chilly Sunday night, warm Monday

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – "Yesterday we were on the warm side, but today we cool down nicely," News 6 meteorologist Madeline Evans said.

A weak cold front is making its way through Central Florida Sunday morning.

Temperatures will reach a high of 76 degrees in Orlando, with sunny skies and no chance of rain. The front brought some stronger wind for the afternoon. Wind will be coming from the north northeast at 10-15 mph, possibly gusting as high as 20 mph.

"Weather is perfect for the Daytona 500," Evans said. "Only making it to a high of 68 at Daytona with still no chance of rain."

Sunday night will be a bit chilly. Bring  a light jacket if you plan to be out late because Central Florida will reach a low of 57 degrees under a mostly clear sky with breezy conditions.

Monday will warm back up to 84 degrees with a 20 percent coverage of rain.
