Orlando to see mostly cloudy weather Tuesday night

Clouds, wind expected on Wednesday

Central Florida saw a high of 79 on Tuesday afternoon at Orlando International Airport. That is right on the money for a normal temperature on this date.

On Tuesday night, there are still a few coastal showers off Brevard County. The heavy rain will stay offshore, but a few pockets of rain will make it onshore. Some of the pockets may hold together to push into southern Osceola County.

Look for a mostly cloudy overnight in Orlando with a low of 61.

Wednesday will bring more clouds, more wind and a 10 percent chance of rain. The high will be 78.

By Thursday, there will be sunshine most of the day and a high of 77.

Big changes are set for the weekend.

Saturday will be the warmest day of the forecast period. The high will jump to 80 with clouds and sun.

The next cold front will move in early Sunday. The high on Sunday will only be 71.

The overnight low Sunday into Monday will drop to 50.

That will mean widespread lows in the 40s north of Orlando.
