Rain chances, feels-like temperatures increase in Central Fla.

Rain chances will increase in Central Florida on Monday as feels-like temperatures reach more than 100 degrees.

"Rain chances will be higher on Monday than we saw over the weekend as that added moisture builds in," said News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges. "Expect a 50 percent coverage of showers and storms as the east and west coast seabreezes come together mainly after 2 o'clock."

Afternoon high temperatures will be close to the average at 93 degrees on Monday afternoon.

"It will feel much hotter though as temperatures will feel like 105 in many spots," said Bridges.

Rain chances will be at 40 percent on Tuesday. Rain chances will be lower at 30 percent Wednesday through the end of the week and the upcoming weekend as high-pressure begins to build back in.

Afternoon high temperatures will be higher as rain chances will be lowered by midweek.

Expect highs in the mid-90s, feeling more like 100.
