Chance of afternoon showers to continue through weekend
Afternoon showers are expected Friday and to continue throughout the weekend in Central Florida.
Forecasters say the chance of rain rises to 40 percent by 3 p.m. on Friday and holds at 30 percent throughout the night.
A 40 percent chance of rain returns Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. and a 30 percent chance of rain holds steady on Sunday throughout the day.
Temperatures on Friday will range from a high of 96 degrees to a low of 74 degrees with mostly clear skies. On Saturday, high temperatures could reach 99 degrees with a low of 76 degrees with partly cloudy skies.
On Sunday, the high will be in the low 90s with the low temperatures in the high-70s. Partly cloudy skies are expected.
