Rain, highs in 80s forecast for Orlando

Cooldown forecast in Central Florida for late in weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. – Off-and-on rain will be scattered across Central Florida on Thursday, with high temperatures in the low 80s.

"A weak front is stalled out in South Florida, bringing a few showers today and into Friday," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

High temperatures in Orlando warm to 83 degrees on Friday.  The average high is 78.

Overnight lows will be in the mid-60s.

Rain chances drop to 10 percent on Saturday, with highs in the low 80s.

"A weak front will bring cooler air by the end of the weekend, however," Bridges said.

Sunday will have a 20 percent coverage of rain and a high of 73 degrees.

Temperatures plummet into the 40s and 50s early Monday morning across the region.
