Rainy, windy, cool day on tap in Central Florida

Overnight lows in Orlando area to range from 30s to 50s

ORLANDO, Fla. – After a wet start across Central Florida, the region will dry out through the day and cool down.

"Winds out of the north behind a front will gust near 20 mph through Friday afternoon," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Even late Friday night, we can expect wind gusts near 20 mph."

Expect a high of 63 degrees on Friday. 

Morning lows on Saturday will be in the 30s, 40s and 50s across Central Florida.

Saturday will see a high of 70.

"Rain stays out of the picture through the weekend, with a high in the upper 70s on Sunday," Bridges said.

Minimal rain chances return Monday, when there will be a high of 82.

The average high temperature in Orlando for this time of year is 74.

Sunrise will be 7:06 a.m. and sunset will be 5:29 p.m.
