Storms expected in Central Florida

Cooler air coming to Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – After tracking fog Wednesday morning, clouds stick around into the afternoon and storms are expected later in the day.

The high temperature in Orlando will reach 82 degrees, but there's a 40 percent chance of rain in the afternoon.

"Storm chances increase to 90 percent after 7 o'clock, however," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

A chance of rain lingers into Thursday morning.

"Temperatures only warm to 66 degrees by Thursday afternoon," Bridges said.

Valentine's Day will see a high of 71 in Orlando, with partly cloudy skies.

The weekend highs will be in the mid-70s with little chance of rain.
