"We're tracking increasing rain for the afternoon drive in Central Florida on Wednesday as more moisture and energy moves in with east winds," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Rain chances stand at 30 percent at noon and increase to 40 percent by 3 p.m.

High temperatures in Orlando will be near the average of 90 degrees.

Rain chances jump to 50 percent for Thursday and Friday.

"It's not a washout for the weekend, with a 40 percent chance for rain and highs in the low 90s," Bridges said.
