ORLANDO, Fla. – The chance of storms is on the rise in Central Florida -- again.

"We're tracking more afternoon storms as an area of low pressure moves in from South Florida on Thursday," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Rain and storms will increase through the day as the low moves into Central Florida."
Bridges said rain chances increase to 30 percent by noon, but jump to 60 percent later in the day.
"Some storms will be strong, with 50 mph winds and very heavy rain," he said.
Temperatures will warm to 90 degrees in Orlando before the heaviest rain falls.
Rain chances will be at 50 percent on Friday and 40 percent for Saturday and Sunday.
High temperatures will be in the low 90s through the weekend.
Saturday marks the official first day of summer.
