ORLANDO, Fla. -

Storms rained on Central Florida for the third straight day, and more wet weather remains in the forecast for Wednesday.

"More hot and humid air will lead to afternoon storms across Central Florida," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

The overnight low will be around 70 degrees.

The high on Wednesday will reach 90 degrees in the Orlando area, with rain chances at 50 percent.

High temperatures stay near 90 degrees into the weekend, but rain chances decrease to 20 percent for Friday and Saturday.

Storms struck the region Sunday, and a lightning strike sparked a blaze that destroyed a home in The Villages.  On Monday, storms toppled a tree in Ocala, crushing a car and killing a man inside.
