Temperatures in 80s warm Central Florida

Rain chances increase for weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. – An even warmer day is on tap Wednesday in Central Florida, with high temperatures about 10 degrees above the average.

The high will reach 82 degrees, with no chance of rain.  The average high in Orlando is 74 degrees.

"High pressure shifts off to our east a bit today, allowing for south southeast winds to bring in more warm air," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Overnight lows will be in the mid-60s.

On Thursday, temperatures will reach the mid-80s, with a high of 85 expected.

Rain chances return to 30 percent on Friday, with a high of 84.

The chance of rain stays at 30 percent from Saturday through Tuesday, including the Daytona 500 on Sunday.

The high temperature will be 82 degrees on Saturday and 78 on Sunday.
