"We are starting off with fog across Central Florida. Some areas will see dense fog into 9 a.m. before it burns off," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

The high will reach 83 degrees in Orlando. The average high on this date is 73.

"Winds will shift out of the southeast heading into the afternoon as an area of high pressure pushes off to the east," Bridges said. "This wind shift will lead to a little bit more moisture ahead of an area of low pressure that will build in from the Gulf of Mexico by Wednesday."

Rain chances increase Wednesday afternoon to 80 percent.

"Expect mainly showers, but some storms will be possible," he said.

There's a 30 percent coverage of rain on Thursday, with highs in the upper 70s on Wednesday and Thursday.

Expect high temperatures in the low 80s by the end of the week.

"There's only minimal rain chances for Saturday, and we look good and dry for Sunday's Daytona 500," Bridges said.

Expect highs near 80 on Saturday.

The high in Orlando will be in the upper 70s Sunday.

Morning lows will stay in the 60s through the end of the week and drop in to the upper 50s by the end of the weekend.
