Warm, dry Sunday ahead for Central Florida

Sunday night to reach low of 63 degrees

ORLANDO, Fla. – "We're looking at another warm, dry day in Central Florida," News 6 meteorologist Madeline Evans said.

Central Florida will reach a high of 83 degrees, with a 20 percent coverage of rain Sunday. The day will begin partly cloudy, then the clouds will burn off by the afternoon leaving it mostly sunny.

"We could see some of those light, pop-up showers by the afternoon -- mainly on the coast," Evans said. "By the early evening, a few of these showers could push inland, but nothing substantial."

Other then a few showers, Sunday looks like a good beach day. Daytona Beach will reach a high of 78 degrees, with the water temperature sitting at 67 degrees. With winds coming from the east southeast, the rip current risk is high.

Sunday night will reach a low of 63 degrees with still a slight chance of a pop-up showers.

Monday will reach a high of 83 degrees once again, with no chance of rain.
