Warm temperatures to wrap up first week of spring in Central Florida

Rain chances remain low throughout upcoming week

ORLANDO, Fla. – Sunday has been another day of mostly sunny but mixed skies over Central Florida. Warm temperatures and less windy conditions wrapped up the first week of spring.

"Expect more of the same going into the upcoming week, with gradually warmer temperatures and a lack of rain as the dominant features," News 6's Danny Treanor said.

There will be partly cloudy skies Sunday night with temperatures ranging from 58 degrees in Ocala, to 61 degrees in Titusville and 62 degrees in Orlando. Patchy fog is possible in some areas, especially Marion County.

Highs on Monday will remain in the 80s with Orlando reaching 83 degrees, Palm Bay reaching 80 degrees and Daytona Beach at 78 degrees.

"By the end of the week, some areas may be flirting with temperatures near 90 degrees," Treanor said.

The chance of rain remain low with only a 20 percent for any given day. Many counties have burn bans in effect and fire danger is high.
