ORLANDO, Fla. -

The warmth continued Monday with the high in Orlando zooming up to 83 degrees.

Monday night will have a partly cloudy sky, a low of 60 degrees, and a very light breeze from the North at about 5 mph. There will be areas of patchy fog late.

Tuesday will be mostly cloudy and the high will stop in the upper 70s. Rain chances return at 20 percent and the low will go back to the lower 60s with more patchy fog.

Wednesday will be a mostly cloudy day with the high of 80 degrees. Rain and thunderstorm chances are at 40 percent.

Thursday looks to be the most active day in Central Florida. It appears there will be at least the threat of strong to severe thunderstorms, and possible straight line winds, Local 6 meteorologist Tom Sorrells said.

The high will be about 78 and storm chances will be 70 percent on Thursday, Sorrells added.

Friday will be partly sunny and cooler, with a high of 72 degrees.

Saturday will be sunny and 75 degrees. Sunday will be mostly sunny and 76 degrees.
