ORLANDO, Fla. – Flooding has plagued multiple streets in Palm Bay as the National Weather Service issues a flood watch for southern Brevard County on Thursday.
Americana Boulevard from Conover Street to Dinner Street NE was closed and impassable, Palm Bay police said.
The flooding comes as NWS issued the flood watch for Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Osceola, St. Lucie and southern Brevard County until 8 p.m.
Pictures sent in from News 6 viewers on Facebook showed high water levels Thursday afternoon in Palm Bay.

Meanwhile, rain chances will be at 40 percent through the afternoon as more tropical moisture builds in from an area of low pressure developing just west of Key West, News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.
There was a 10 percent chance of tropical development for the area of low pressure, but the National Hurricane Center later said the system is not likely to develop further.
There's a 40 percent coverage of rain, mostly from Orlando and to the south, through Saturday. Rain chances drop to 20 percent Sunday in the Orlando area.
Afternoon highs will be close to the average of 90 degrees for the next several days. Expect a high of 90 in Orlando on Thursday, with an overnight low in the mid-70s.
Friday's high will be 92. The weekend will see highs near 90.
