ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida had a near-perfect day Monday. The high at Orlando International Airport shot up to 84 degrees in the afternoon.
Monday night the area will have clear conditions early on, but patchy fog will develop later as the low drops to 61 degrees.
Tuesday the fog will burn off early and the day will be mostly to partly sunny, with the high going back to 82 degrees.
Big rain chances move in on Wednesday.
The high will max out at 77 degrees, but the big change will be the rain chance.
Central Florida will have a 60 percent chance of rain in the afternoon and evening on Wednesday.
Some of these showers could be heavy, News 6 chief meteorologist Tom Sorrells said.
Thursday the showers will hang around, with a 40 percent chance of rain and storms.
The high will be 78.
By Friday, the sky will be mostly sunny and temperatures will remain warm. The high on Friday will be 83.
Saturday will be a nice day, with a high of 81 and a slight chance of rain.
Daytona 500 spectators Sunday can look forward to only a slight chance of rain.
The high in Daytona will be 73.
