New barbecue restaurant now open in Orlando

New restaurant will also offer barbecue cooking classes

ORLANDO, Fla.Smokemade Meats + Eats is now in the soft opening of its first brick-and-mortar location in Orlando’s Curry Ford West District.

The restaurant, located at 1400 S. Crystal Lake Drive, opened at 11 a.m. on Friday.

The restaurant is set to be open from 11 a.m. until sellout Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the soft opening, according to a news release.

Smokemade Meats + Eats (Smokemade Meats + Eats)

The business has not yet announced its grand opening. The release said the restaurant will also have a 3rd anniversary party in April.

The business, which is run by Tyler Brunache, has been operating as a pop-up restaurant for the past three years, according to the release, first opening in April 2021.

The menu includes brisket, jalapeno cheddar sausage, pork spare ribs, turkey breast and pulled pork along with sides like potato salad, cheese grits, coleslaw and mac & cheese.

The new restaurant will also offer classes on cooking brisket and ribs and how to make sausage.
