2 arrested after Porsche flees police, crashes into Altamonte Springs backyards

Ricardo Bell facing multiple charges related to the pursuit, drugs that were found in the vehicle

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Police arrested two people after chasing a Porsche that took off from a traffic stop and drove through backyards Thursday.

Officers in Altamonte Springs say it all started when they got an anonymous complaint from Cathy Drive after 1:00p.m. When they got to the neighborhood, they found a grey Porsche with dark tinted windows idling on the street.

According to a police report, when officers attempted to approach the Porsche, the driver reversed into the police vehicle parked behind it. The report says the driver then accelerated forwards and hit the marked patrol car in front of it as well.

Police say the Porsche then sped down the street and collided with a tree and a car parked in a driveway before the driver continued to the cul-de-sac and through a fence.

A shed in one of the yards was knocked off its foundation before the Porsche crashed into a fence in the backyard of another home. The driver got out of the car and tried to run away before he was taken into custody, according to the police report.

Altamonte Springs Police identified the driver as Ricardo Bell. An arrest affidavit for Bell shows he had a suspended license, and an active warrant out of Orange County for unlawful possession of material depicting sexual performance of a child.

Officers also searched the vehicle and found methamphetamine, oxycodone pills, along with other drugs and paraphernalia.

Police also arrested Holly Kelley who was a passenger in the Porsche. She told officers she tried to get out of the car several times and was refused.

Kelley is facing drug charges, and Bell is facing multiple charges related to the pursuit and drugs that were found in the vehicle.

Online jail records show Bell is being held without bond.
