Police investigate shooting at Tzadik Brookside Apartments

ORLANDO, Fla. – A masked gunman shot a woman late Tuesday in Orlando, according to police, but the motive for the attack is not known.

The shooting was reported at 10:49 p.m. at the Tzadik Brookside Apartments on Cinderlane Parkway near Orange Blossom Trail.

Orlando police said a 26-year-old woman was found in front of a building with a gunshot wound to her right hip. She said a man wearing all-black clothing and a mask got out of a blue Nissan Maxima or Altima and firing several shots at her, according to police.

The masked gunman fled in an unknown direction in the vehicle, police said.

The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

No other details have been released.
