Veteran Meteorologist Danny Treanor joined the News 6 Pinpoint Weather team in June of 2014.
Has been forecasting and keeping a watchful eye on Central Florida skies and beach conditions since 1978.
Danny knows Florida weather! His forecasting experience covers a variety of severe conditions from tornados and thunderstorms to hurricanes.
Danny has been in the Orlando TV market for over 30 years. He retired in October of 2013 after working 10 years at News Channel 13. He also worked for WFTV-Channel 9 for 18 years. His love and passion for Meteorology brought him back to WKMG News 6, where his Pinpoint weather forecasting helps you get results and make the most out of your day.
You can catch Danny Treanor on the weekend newscasts at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m., he also helps out during the week in severe weather situations.
When he is not standing in front of a weather map, he is thinking of creative new ways to deliver the weather story to his loyal viewers.
