Honda recalls 800,000 Odyssey minivans over seat latch issue

Vans made from 2011 to 2017 affected

NEW YORK – Honda is recalling about 800,000 of its Odyssey minivans because of a problem with a seat latch, the company says.

According to Honda, the second row seats can tip forward if they're not properly latched after being adjusted. The problem has been blamed for at least 46 minor injuries.

The recall affects vans made from 2011 to 2017. Honda is working to figure out a way to repair the issue and plans to notify owners when a solution is available.
