Cashews recalled because of glass

Southern Grove Cashews Halves & Pieces with Sea Salt sold in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – Thousands of canisters of Southern Grove Cashews are being recalled after pieces of glass were found by several customers. 

The Food and Drug Administration says the recall involves Southern Grove Cashews Halves & Pieces with sea salt.

The cashews were sold at Aldi stores in more than two dozen states, including Florida. 

 

The recalled snacks were packaged in 8-ounce cans with the UPC code of 041498179366 and the best-by dates of 11/27/18 and 11/28/18.

 

No injuries have been reported. 

 

All of the recalled cashews have been taken off store shelves. 

 

Customers who have one of the recalled canisters can return it to the store where they bought it for a full refund.
