Lake Nona High School adds second drop-off zone for parents

Change aims to keep students safe

ORLANDO, Fla. – Lake Nona High School is making a big change Monday morning to try to keep students safe.

In February, troopers started cracking down on parents who allowed their kids get out the car in the middle of Narcoosee Road to avoid the long line of traffic.

To avoid the problem, the school will try using two drop-off spots, one in front of the school and the other near the gym.

School workers said if the trial goes well, the change will become permanent.
