ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County Public Schools is joining nine other Florida counties to sue the state of Florida over a new law.
The school board voted Tuesday to become the 10th district involved in the lawsuit.

The new state law redirects millions of dollars from public schools to privately run charter schools.
The board says the county's initial funding for litigation will start at $25,000. Board members would have to approve any extra costs.
Other districts involved in the lawsuit include Volusia, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
